NWACC NOW!

The Campaign for YOUR Community College

Founded as a “college without walls”, NorthWest Arkansas Community College has distinguished itself as a vital provider of higher education in Northwest Arkansas for almost 3 decades.

As the college continues to respond to the growing needs of the region, the time is NOW to expand its footprint and provide enhanced access to affordable higher education for current and prospective students throughout NWA.

To help meet this need, the NWACC Foundation has launched an organized capital campaign to raise $12 million for construction costs of the new 38,000 square foot NWACC facility in Washington County, located west of Arvest Ball Park in Springdale.  The new location offers:

  • General Education courses
  • Health Professions programming (Nursing, Emergency Medical Responding, Health Information Management)
  • Full array of Student Services, from advising and registration to financial aid and tutoring
  • Headquarters for the Early College Experience program, which provides area high school students with concurrent college credit.

This new NWACC facility provides a true state-of-the-art collegiate environment and offers affordable, accessible and quality education and workforce training for all of Northwest Arkansas.

“Our Campaign is an important opportunity to reflect on our past, declare our intentions for the future and position the College for an even greater role regionally.  NWACC NOW! The Campaign for YOUR Community College will help shape the next era of the College by helping grow the culture of philanthropy, which will directly support the unique assets of the College for the benefit of our students, our faculty, our staff and NWA. I invite you to partner with me and, working together, we can support academic innovations that will lead our great institution, and Northwest Arkansas, into the future.”

- Mike Luttrell, Walker Brothers Insurance – Vice Chair, NWACC Foundation Board of Directors
